Ali who manages the facility is absolutely amazing. The breakfasts that are served are to die for. This is a very quiet boutique hotel with just over a dozen rooms only. We sat at the pool every day and were always by ourselves. Lots of great local restaurants and only a 10-15 walk down the hill to town. Only negative was a little noise from the local residential dogs and a bit of traffic. We were in room 4 on second floor and didn't hear any music from town but other reviews say they hear it. Absolutely will be back if we come back to Cabo. Done with the all inclusives. Ali you and your staff were the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Bungalows. There is no doubt that Aly is an outstanding manger and hostess. She manages to do everything with a smile and always looks after everyone. The property itself is a lovely private oasis with quaint rooms , there is a delicious breakfast each morning with a cup of fabulous Cabo coffee.

The staff is very nice there & they go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. It's a nice quiet boutique hotel which I enjoy, rooms are comfortable & the pool is nice. The free is breakfast was great too. It;s close enough to walk or a quick Uber ride to all the restaurants & bars downtown.

The property was so gorgeous and was truly its own little oasis. It was a 15 minute walk to the marina which was just perfect to have a quiet place off the main strip while also having a great walk to go see everything. The staff was beyond phenomenal with their service. We truly felt welcome. The food was beyond amazing and they had fresh juice at the ready whenever you wanted it. The pool area was serene and such a nice place to either swim or layout with a book. We stayed in the honeymoon suite an it was so private and felt like we were the only ones there. We were greeted with fresh flowers and chocolates in the room and were given fresh juice at check in. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Cabo San Lucas. My partner and I are already wanting to plan another visit and we only left 5 days ago.

A beautiful Oasis in Cabo!

We had an amazing week at the Bungalows hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room in this boutique hotel was clean and well maintained. There was AC which we didn't need, the weather was spectacular the week we stayed. The property was an oasis of beautiful flowering plants and palm trees, the heated pool was divine! The breakfasts offered were fantastic with fresh fruit, smoothies and a delicious entree every morning (eggs Benedict, stuffed french toast and our favorite banana pecan pancakes!) The Bunglaows Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of some great eateries and about a 15 minute walk (with hills) to the marina which is where all the activity is happening. The hotel is located in the middle of residential area and the 'downtown/marina' and there was a bit of noise - cars, trucks and buses frequented the roads surrounding the hotel and there were lots of barking dogs and roosters. Coming from NYC this noise wasn't a big problem for us but could be for others. We did not have a car but Uber's were very reasonable and readily available. We were warned that taxi's were more expensive and to avoid them. We would definitely come back!

This is a wonderful budget option for a quiet reprieve from the loud downtown of Cabo San Lucas. We stayed in the honeymoon suite all week and had a great time. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Aletse is a great manager! Things we loved - Location is very close to the marina, restaurants, 7/11 type market, stores and downtown - The suite was magical. It fave adventure in the jungle vibes. - Air conditioning in the room - Bed was very comfortable for me as I like firm mattresses. - Daily breakfast was incredible! We got to try everything they serve because we stayed for a whole week. Waffles, pancakes, egg Benedict, omelets and coffee/aguas frescas... delicious <3 - Pool was amazing. Incredibly easy to use and central to all the rooms. It is always heated to a warm temperature and is so refreshing after a busy day. - Private entrance and quiet even though the surrounding area is run down and not the safest (no crosswalks or sidewalks in the street, aggressive drivers etc). You can't hear the partying downtown from the room! - Free WiFi so we were able to order our Uber rides without having cell service Cons: - No television (which is arguably a pro) - Outdated room key (you must carry a physical key with you to unlock your door which is glass, instead of a chip in a card for more security. You also must lock your door from inside with the key. We didn't feel unsafe while there however.) Overall wonderful stay. Beautiful property and family like feel.

A home away from home

Wanted to avoid the Cabo resort crowd and cost. The Bungalows ended up being so much better than we could have imagined. First, the service is incredible. So many reviews say it, but Ali is a one woman welcome party who immediately makes you glad you booked. Fresh juice and a hug on arrival. The breakfast was the highlight of our busy days getting our scuba certification. It’s simple, and yet feels like a treat every time. Coffee, tea, fresh juice/smoothies, and alternating sweet and savory mains. The rooms are spacious, colorful, clean. Two big bottles of water. AC and fans to keep cool. I’ll pass other feedback to the owner but some things to keep in mind for guests - curtains are thin and let street light in. If you are sensitive to light at night, I’d bring a sleep mask. Some reviews talk about dog noise. Yes we heard it but it was infrequent and did not wake this light sleeper up. We had some teeny ants in the room around the bathroom sink and the bed - this is absolutely not a reason to not book, just want management and guests to know. The pool is heated and some pool chairs. But pool loungers could use upgrading to make the area really feel luxurious. A quieter crowd but walking distance to town. We will definitely book again!
