Lovely place, great staff, very clean & spacious room. Comfy bed & well stocked mini bar. Beautifully decorated with a great common area. Even a wine tasting on the Friday night. The free coffee, juice and muffins was unexpected and very welcome. Waves was closed to the beach and nowhere in Byron is far away. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location- brilliant, but tired rooms in need of a refresh - three light globes went while we were there (replaced very swiftly, great services), cracks in bathroom tiles, weirdly low shower head, and a underwhelming outdoor area as part of our room.

We had such a great stay at Waves Hotel Byron Bay! The staff were super friendly and made everything feel really easy from the moment we arrived. They even added a special touch for my wife’s birthday, which made the day feel extra memorable. The location is unbeatable — literally a few steps to the beach and close to all the good coffee and food spots. Traveling with our baby, we really appreciated how accommodating and relaxed everything felt. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the room was spacious and clean with a nice view and a great bathroom. Overall, it felt like really good value for the quality and location. Would definitely stay again!
