Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub.
Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Inn is on a fairly busy road, which means it's easy to find with loads of parking - but most of the better known walks are a drive away.
We ate at the restaurant both nights as it was so delicious and the team was lovely and welcoming too.
Great ambiance and lovely management.
