Public area in the hotel are very nice but the rooms are pretty dated for the price. Also parking and use of the spa was at additional cost which is annoying given the cost of the rooms. Buxton overal is a lovely place to visit though!

For how much we paid the hotel it’s been so disappointing. Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am not even 24 hour stay. One towel to share between two people, no bath mat, the bed had human hair in it and it’s an out dated old place. Honestly travel lodge would have been, cleaner, nicer and cheaper. So disappointing.

This is a beautiful building which is a bit tired inside. The twin beds were very firm and we both woke up with stiff joints. Medium hardness in the mattresses would be much more comfortable and less painful.
