“Architecture and location are outstanding. Truly amazing. The Grotto suites are stunning. The views, to die for. The downsides are that the building is in need of a bit of maintenance with chipped and scratched plaster abounding. Our fridge was not clean but the linen was perfect. Lack of stair lighting to go to the main function areas is not great. Food in restaurants was good with large portions and welcoming, helpful staff. Highly recommend as a Kruger Park journey stop-over.”

“We stayed 3 nights and what a truly amazing place to stay. Beautiful and super comfortable rooms - huge with lots of amenity. The sundowners lounge overlooking the sunset was truly stunning. The food - both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The pools (we had a private plunge pool) as well as the main pool were beautiful. Best of all the staff were brilliant and could not help enough. Joan (Manager) was lovely, Charles (does everything - garden maintenance, waiter, reception etc), and on and...

“Wonderful attention to detail and comfort. Food (special dinner) was prepared with great care and pride. A wonderful place to stay!”

“The place was Comfortable with a good breakfast and nice setting next to the pool. Had no hot water to shower in the morning and TV in lounge was faulty though.”

“Property is a little tired and in need of updating nevertheless for the price and friendly and helpful staff it’s well worth staying with quick access to Kruger park gate so would recommend”

“They accepted my booking, and when i arrive for check in i was told that they can not check me in because there is no one on the property to check me in. I was then promissed a refund and still no refund yet and the owner is ghosting me”

“The picture showing the pool has NO water in it. If you book breakfast you won’t get any Power went off for 2 days, after 18 hrs they managed to get a generator, that they ran for 2.5 hrs didn’t communicate that they would turn it off at 9.10pm, so no air con charging phones or camera for safaris, can’t even make a cup of tea. Next day it was off all day again till about 6pm. Couldn’t communicate anything. They did not speak/ or would not speak English. Yet anything you asked for they understood...

“The lodge sits on a hill, giving a nice view to any room! Clean room equipped with everything you needed.”
