However this hotel is located on route of a hill, unless you take a taxi it quite a bit of a hike to walk up from the nearest subway station. Other then that, great hotel! Third part of our family vacation in South Korea and chose this place due to the amazing structure design and potential views of Busan. Property is on the older side, but interiors are well renovated. Opted out of breakfast options and it was extra charge. A lot of amenities required extra charges. Service was very good and counter offered foreign exchange with posted rates. The location is not for the elderly or hard of walking as it requires either steep stairs to get to location or a long ramp to sidewalk beside the street to get to its place.

Traditional hotel

My brother and I stayed here to visit our old houses in Busan. We grew up in the shadow of this hotel but never went in. The hotel is a grand dame and whilst some might find it dated, the rooms are comfortable and service called and anywhere that has silken tofu for breakfast gets my vote. I look forward to retuning.

I have stayed at this property 5 times over the past 15 years. Staff at the lounge was typical for latest generation. Not engaging or friendly at all. More interested in their phone or computer than their customers. Very stingy on “bar peanuts “ and just not very friendly at all. Attempts to strike up conversations were awkward. Rooms were very warm and opening the window was no help. Room temperature was about 78 F the entire time
