Very welcoming and friendly hotel. We stayed over for a wedding and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Although the roons were on the small side they were perfect for what we required. Food was good and staff pleasant. Would stay here again.

We stayed here last night and had a brilliant experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – a special mention to Holly, who was absolutely fantastic and made such a difference to our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a great mix of character and comfort. Excellent hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to Bloodstock Festival so was able to get a rest after 4 days at the festival before the drive home. Food in the restaurant downstairs was so nice and reasonably priced. All the staff were lovely too. We have already booked for the day after the festival next year!

This is a lovely hotel by the side of the river Trent. Our room was spotless and seemed as though it had been recently redecorated, with a very nice bathroom. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice.

Great stay at the Riverside

Great hotel Love staying here, lovely walk down the river with a nearby championship golf course. (Small 9 course is not great) Food is always good and the service is very friendly. Rooms are clean and warm with tea, coffee and chocolates. I left my company credit card in my room and the manager called me the next day to post it back

Paper thin walls.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. The rooms are particularly small, but the issue is, the walls are made of paper, so make sure you have ear plugs. Great food in the restaurant and would be a lovely location in the summer.
