This was the ideal stopover, we found the reception, public areas and our room clean and well cared for. All the staff we met, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the choice, presentation and taste really good.

Very welcoming and friendly hotel. We stayed over for a wedding and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Although the roons were on the small side they were perfect for what we required. Food was good and staff pleasant. Would stay here again.

Lovely hotel and would definitely recommend. I had one issue, in that I called the hotel just over 2 weeks prior to my stay to request a ground floor accessible room due to having a knee operation. I was told on phone that this would be no problem and my booking was updated. When I got there there was no record of the change or phone call so we had to move to a first floor room which wasn’t ideal as there is no lift. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel, service, food and surroundings. Lovely place to stay.

Excellent

We stayed here last night and had a brilliant experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – a special mention to Holly, who was absolutely fantastic and made such a difference to our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a great mix of character and comfort. We’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommended!
