Super clean rooms, staff were unbelievably friendly and grounds are superb. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, best breakfast I’ve had in any UK hotel and we can’t wait to go back. The spa facilities are clean & well maintained enjoyed by the whole family. Full sports tv package within rooms, England FC themed throughout the hotel and we were able to book an hours football on a trg pitch for no added fee; a great touch to a football themed night away.

Great weekend away - best Hilton in the UK

We had a great time at Hilton. Swimming pool was nice and clean compared to other hotels. The breakfast was also good and the staff are extra nice to little ones (they even have a play area in the restaurant in the morning). We will definitely be back soon.

Stayed for one night as was attending a meeting with a late finish. Check-in was simple and professional. The room was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with lovely toiletries supplied. More than enough coat hangers and wardrobe space for my needs. But it’s the staff that I really wanted to talk about…. As I said, I was attending a meeting at the hotel which didn’t finish until well after 9pm. I hadn’t been able to have anything to eat for prior to the meeting, so walked to the hotel’s restaurant, hoping that I wasn’t too late, as I’d read that food was only served until 9pm. There were two gentleman standing at the entrance who I approached to ask if there was any chance I could get something to eat. They were so happy to help, immediately finding me a table and assuring me that I could order something. The waiter who took my order was really helpful and friendly, checking on me after my food had been brought to my table. Rather than me having to go to the bar to pay, the waiter brought the payment device to my table. As a woman staying on my own in the hotel, it could have been quite daunting being alone, but the staff were attentive, but not to the point as being annoying, just sufficient that it made me feel like they cared about my stay. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

2nd time in staying and both occasions the sheets were filthy, the first time had 2 hairs and blood on the sheet and the second time was black dirt stains, I showed reception the photo and they got the sheets changed for us. My son ordered a burger for dinner like a few of the boys did that we were with, all of them complained about it, it was cold and tough and felt like they'd been cooked at lunch or day before, left and then re heated to serve for dinner, really tasteless. The group went swimming and were enjoying their recent success, the dads of the group were throwing the boys across the pool whilst in the pool themselves, nobody else was in there with us, was just our group and the staff were very rude saying everyone would need to get out if anybody jumped again. It was parents and their kids having fun with nobody else present, if this is such a concern then they should have a lifeguard on duty.
