Vacations Close To Burnley Vineyards

The room was clean and comfortable, however very basic. No frills. We did enjoy the extra space. The floor above was squeaky so when other guests were awake, it was difficult to sleep. I would recommend the Oakhurst Inn's convenience to the University of VA. With accommodations so tight in Charlottesville, the Oakhurst provides a better stay for the price than many of the other hotels.

For alumni returning for events at Scott Stadium or JPJ, excellent location.

To start, there was no valet when we arrived. They never cleaned rooms or brought towels. There appears to be no staff so it is very difficult to get assistance with things. Beds were comfy though.

Awesome atmosphere, great place!

It was such a beautiful, historic site to stay. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do hiking, tubing, sightseeing. The breakfast was outstanding. The vineyard next door is one of the best places I have ever eaten.

We liked everything about this property: it's a 10 min drive to UVA, near lots of shopping (some even within walking distance), the rooms are large, beds are comfortable, free parking and breakfast and even on-site laundry. We will definitely stay here again!
