“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. “I didn't like having a room which faced out onto the courtyard where pub guests were drinking and eating. It meant that to get privacy you had to draw the curtains which then covered not only the door but also the only windows and I like to have open windows, especially when there is no air conditioner. Having said that, the room itself was quite comfortable and the food was good.”
