This was great for families with young children. The indoor and outdoor pools were both nice and we enjoyed sitting outside at one of the many tables. The kids loved the evening milk and warm cookies, which was a real treat. The gym was decent and had a good amount of equipment.

We were given one of their updated rooms which was clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night but I will say along with the hot breakfast and the coffee machine and water dispenser in the lobby, our stay was without any complaint.

We really enjoyed our mini-cation at the Windjammer! Swimming and relaxing in the pool with all those beautiful happy families on July 4 was a special experience, and a perfect metaphor for the rich and diverse cultural history that defines the U.S. on it's 250th anniversary. We had a great time.

The hotel appeared very clean, but my room had a very strong smell of mildew which caused my allergies to flare up and put a real damper on the experience. I would have asked to change rooms, but when I was checking in the desk clerk told someone on the phone they were full for the night. The pool looked nice, but I didn't try it out. The hotel is large and there were a lot of people. I had dinner at the bar and the food and wine were great!

Had an excellent stay here. It's located a quick 10 min cab ride from the Amtrak Union Station and in walking distance to local buses that get you to other neighborhoods quickly. There are also supermarkets and a small in walking distance should you need anything last minute. The indoor pool and gym were immaculate. My room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was tasty and the 24/7 lobby hot coffee/tea was a nice perk. Staff was very kind as well.
