“No aircon. Very hot room. Got a fan but pretty poor for an expensive Spa resort. No late checkout for Gold member... 2 hours 20 pounds. All in all OK but a little disappointed ”

“Lovely reception staff - i wrote the names of the women down but lost them! But they were so welcoming and helpful. The reviews for thie hotel seem quite harsh as this is a solid four star review hotel. The pool and gym are excellent. Breakfast had the best bacon I have had in a hotel but you need to come to breakfast before 9.30. The rooms were clean and modern.”

“Nice traditional Pub with rooms located in a nice green area with some good walking trails to the Trundle (definitely worth it)... the food was great, and the breakfast was filling - staff were friendly and helpful”

“Charming old manor house built in the 1700s. We actually had the room the was formerly the stables! So cute and endearing! Single lane road covered with trees. Great for walks. A beautiful church and old cemetery behind the house. A Pub and a restaurant. Gorgeous new bathroom. As for amenities I did not give 5 stars due to lack of places to put a suitcase and cosmetics. Pedestal sinks look nice but they don't offer place to even set a toothbrush.”

“The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. ”
