“Cheap and cheerful. Somewhat faded and needs a bit of tlc. But great for the price. Lovely decor in lobby, just like a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. My room was very large (a twin) and very bright, with 3 windows. It was overlooking a playing field with trees. Vinyl flooring was good, I noticed other rooms had old looking carpets. “The hotel was so good that I actually came back a second time. :) The staff is very warm and friendly and kind and will offer good suggestions for meaningful places to go to. If you need any help, they will help you immediately. Also, my room was very quiet. Some other guy who wrote a review said he thought his room was a little noisy because of outside traffic, but the hotel is not facing a busy street and I did not hear any traffic at all. “Stayed for 2 days and it was unmatched. Service was outstanding. The BNB itself was outstanding. Free breakfast served fresh. I will be back next time I am in Kathmandu. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend you stay here. A little tough to find but it is down that dead end Street. Paid 600nr for a taxi from the airport. Not more than that.”
