Great place to stay, certainly not upmarket, but has all the plusses, quality and friendly service. Clean rooms, tidy outdoors and everything worked as it should have. Will certainly be back.

I loved the fact that we weren't charged a bond!!! The bloke who checked us in stated that we weren't suspicious looking people so we were not charged a bond at all. Paying a bond can be so stressful because sometimes it takes forever to get the bond back & last time we stayed at the lighthouse they stuffed up big time. Loved staying at the Admiral & will definitely stay there again in future.

Overlooks a school oval one side and busy main roads on the other side. Really dated but clean. Overpriced for location and room type. Can get better for cheaper in Bunbury.

Wasn’t full and put a family next door with noisy infant 12am. No breakfast available apparently because it’s the new year. Poor excuse because it’s peak time. Just say the truth whatever that may be and let people know before they book. Shower outlet rusted running down stained tiles and a beautiful tint of green copper around the shower outlet. Not hard to clean. Get what you pay for

Good place to stay when traveling for work

Generally, it was a passable experience. I was staying here for the work week of Monday to Friday, and most of the other guests were tradespeople who were also travelling for work related reasons. Despite the building's age, the room was carefully maintained and clean. The hard work and dedication of the housekeeping team is noticed and greatly appreciated. The water pressure was weak and instead of just hot water, both the hot and cold taps were running with hot water. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, however. We visited the restaurant for breakfast and it was satisfactory, however we were dismayed to find there was no coffee machine, even a basic drip filter machine would have been enough. It would be beneficial to include breakfast and dinner menus in the rooms as there is currently no indication of this on either your website or any other travel websites. If I was on holiday I wouldn’t stay here due to the tradespeople who start to move around, laugh and smoke from 4am, though it wasn’t a huge issue for me since I was already awake. Knowing that it's not always feasible to have someone monitoring the area 24/7, it is common for guests to smoke just outside their room, and the smell tends to linger into the nearby rooms, which is a less than satisfactory outcome. We would appreciate it if you would purchase a coffee machine that is not of the instant type. It would be almost criminal to partake in that type of beverage.

My room was very good, clean and great blinds for darkness, what I read need to sleep. It was also nice and quiet. My daughter’s room was close to the road and said the traffic noise made it hard to sleep good though!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Admiral Motel. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. We wanted to use the bbq and they had a box ready with all the utensils and bits you need. The rooms were spacious and clean for our family room (two connected rooms in fact). The only thing is the place is quite dated and worn, I imagine not much had been done in our room since the place was built. To be honest it would probably ruin the feel of the place if they changed it though. So don’t expect luxury, but in terms of function it was good. There were also plenty of mugs, plates and cutlery so with that and the bbq you could actually self cater, which is a great as a family to keep costs down. Would definitely consider again when visiting Bunbury.
