This was an amazing hotel. The room was just the right size, the staff was amazing! In fact, they went above and beyond for me when I was not feeling well. Truly a class act organization. The location is great. Easy walking and safe. Touristy stuff nearby but easy to get to the other parts of town by walking or by Subte, which is close. I really cannot say enough about the caring and thoughtful staff. They really treated me well and with concern. 100 stars!!

Quite simply, the best hotel for the money in downtown Buenos Aires. It is simple and clean, incredible breakfasts, quiet, roomy, friendly, and located in the heart of shopping and restraurants. We made the mistake of visiting Uruguay for a few days and came back to town to another hotel, and regretted it immediately. Great job to the owners and staff of the Principado!

This is a great place for not a lot of money which is right downtown and has everything you need right on Paraguay Ave. You can either pay $300 a night for a hotel, or pay less than $100 here, and still get a great breakfast, a super-clean room, and walk to everything you need. Highly recommend!

Hotel is located in a central area, close to restaurants and pedestrian shopping mall. Room was clean, had all necessary amenities for short stay. Common areas are well maintained. Breakfast area is very pretty and breakfast quality is good ( provided it’s included in the rate nature). There is wonderful steak house downstairs in the same building ( butt separate from the hotel, not part of Principado. Would highly recommend for dinner). Overall, for short stay ( like pre-cruise, as in our case) I would not hesitate to stay here again.
