Disappointing Stay at BENS L'Hotel Palermo: Location and Staff Shined, but Room Value Fell Short
We recently stayed at BENS L'Hotel Palermo and found the overall experience disappointing, primarily due to the disparity between the price paid and the quality of the room we received. The positive reviews on Expedia did not align with our reality.
The primary issues were with the room and bathroom functionality. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the bathtub had a bizarrely designed glass door opening that made entering and exiting for a shower feel precarious and "sketchy." For the price point, we expected much higher standards of maintenance and room design.
On a positive note, the hotel's location was indeed fantastic, offering easy access to the area. The staff were also very helpful and nice, which made interacting with them a pleasure. Ultimately, while we appreciated the great location and friendly service, the condition and value of the room overshadowed these positives, resulting in a disappointing stay.
