I have never experienced better hospitality than at this sweet hotel. I was so wonderfully looked after - the general manager was waiting for me with birthday treat at midnight! All the staff are lovely, helpful and attentive. Rooms are well maintained and clean, there is a nice pool and the AC works well.

The hotel is located in Palermo Hollywood and plenty of restaurants, cafes around. In BA it’s super easy to get around by bus but you have to know which stop to get off because there’s no announcement. There are plenty of bussed around and you can cake subway line D to get to places. The hotel is clean and has everything you need. Breakfast buffet is great from 7am to 11am. The front desk staff is super helpful and friendly; and they speak excellent English. They gave us many recommendations and they are wonderful.

As comfortable, beautiful and service oriented as this hotel is— in so many aspects— I had trouble getting to sleep and sleeping soundly due to noise from the street /balcony. I do recommend staying here, but suggest you book a room overlooking the delightful courtyard. This would make Ilum a perfect hotel in my opinion!
