Our room had wonderful views out over the Recoleta cemetery and out towards the sea. It was a busy, thriving area with a great atmosphere, music, craft and art markets, open spaces and variety of eating options. Also by the start of yellow tourist bus! Staff were friendly & helpful too! :-)

The property is very run down and old. Most of the staff was quite unfriendly when we interacted with them, and they even denied us our free drinks that were promised with our booking. Our room faced the street and it was extremely loud until about 4am because there are a few busy bars right outside your window. We did not even try the breakfast, we took one look at it and decided to go buy breakfast somewhere instead, there is at least a shopping mall with some choices a few blocks away. The hotel is located around a bunch of restaurants and bars and it is right across the street from the recoleta cemetary, so if it is location you are after, then maybe this could be for you.

Good location

Excellent location with a short walk to buses and metro. Staff were helpful and polite and most reception staff spoke good English. Tourist area so felt safe, with several restaurants and some shops, very busy at night but quiet at rear and on higher floors.

Great staff, mediocre rooms

The staff, front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping all top notch. Room was a handicap room, bathroom had walk in shower, that we requested. The faucet in the shower could not regulate the hot water...maintenance came, but never worked properly. Also, no closet..we were there 8 nights, used kitchenette cupboards for clothes. Location excellent.
