My husband and I spent the weekend at this hotel. It was a wonderful weekend! The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. Everything was nice and comfortable. The pool, soak tub and hot tubs were amazing. We were able to walk to any thing we could have desired and as usual Salida was beautiful! We cannot wait to stay at the Loyal Duke again and next time bring the whole family.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a good view of the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold choices and snacks. Didn't try the pool or hot tub, but they were busy until closing time. Old historic downtown was about a 5 minute drive and has a great vibe with plenty of dining and entertainment options...we caught a free concert in the park!
