What a fun weekend escape! We enjoyed our time in the Harvard tiny home, the beds were comfortable, the towels fluffy, and everything was super clean. The fire pit area had great chairs too. The campground is surrounded by beautiful mountains. We would certainly stay again!

I stayed in the yurt for two nights. The checkin was very easy - the hosts are kind and knowledgeable. The yurt was clean, spacious, had air and heat, a fan, plenty of outlets, and was close to both bathrooms. In addition, it has a deck with the most beautiful view of the mountains. The bathrooms/showers were clean. The group spaces were nice, with puzzles, games, and books. The kitchen area had a microwave that worked well. I’d highly recommend staying here, and look forward to returning.

My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing visit to BV Overlook Lodging and Campground. The tiny houses we rented were clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. We spent the evening around the gas fire pit, enjoying each other’s company and the amazing Mountain views. The campground staff (including Pumpkin, the camp cat) were very friendly and welcoming. Although the camp feels remote, it’s just a few short minutes from places to eat, drink and shop. Great property overall and we can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in the YURT on 8/17/26 and it was so cute. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in ages!!!! The check in process was a little frustrating at first only because we arrived around 9pm and it was dark. Because Buena Vista is a dark sky community, there isn't a lot of lighting throughout the camp, so it was difficult to see where we were going and what we needed to do in order to get checked in, and where to park once we found the yurt, My only suggestion is to have a couple of guest towels available inside the yurt for showers. We're traveling and don't carry towels like that with us but had been camping for 4 days and needed to shower. Since towels weren't available, we dried off with the big brown paper towels that were in the bathroom, Aside from that little thing, we enjoyed the stay and I would definitely book again!

It’s a cute little tiny home, but oh man does it need renovation… floor was peeling up & the AC unit only cooled the bottom floor. The top area that you sleep in was really warm which made it hard to sleep. Pros: the views are really pretty & it’s the perfect size for 1-2 night stay. Parking included. Easy to find & directions for check in were super easy. Cons: AC didn’t cool the sleeping loft at all. No other airflow was possible (even window open didn’t do anything). The unit needs a renovation. The vinyl flooring was peeling up.

Great stay for the night! Very clean and had everything we needed. Belford is a tiny home so climbing the ladder to bed can be difficult. Property was well thought out and peaceful. Late check in was easy.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the tiny homes. We had our own fire pit and chairs, it was nice to have a full kitchen and our own space. The property had lots of people staying and was still very quiet and felt secluded. We will recommend to friends and we will be back!!

Great view

We did a quick night stay in one of the mini houses which was just right for two with a comfortable bed and bathroom. Although a bit pricey, when really enjoyed our stay. The view was awesome as we sat by the gas fire pit watching the sunset. Communication and service was excellent.

I loved the mountain hiking we could walk right up to from our porch. We got to explore the mountain without an exact trail, and it was easy to find our way back to camp. I also loved that there was a gas stove, a gas grill, charcoal grill, campfire pit with an affixed grill, and a gas fire pit...so many options for cooking and sitting by a fire to make staying out in nature easier and more relaxing. Also the campground was quiet and clean. We used this as a hotel in nature rather than camping, and I would recommend it for either purpose.

We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay!
