This property is run down, discussing, dirty, had open power lines and torn down smoke detectors etc. It appeared to be a pay-by-the-hour hotel. Patrons hanging out smoking weed on the staircases. They claim air conditioned family suites but there is only one AC and the separate bedroom had a shaking ceiling fan. Just bad, like something off a scary movie.

We chose this hotel because it is convenient to Knott's Berry Farm, just across the street. Overall, our stay could have been better, but it was still a nice, clean room. The exhaust fan over the toilet didn't work at all, and the room heater generated only slightly warm air despite being set to max (90 degrees). We had the "Honeymoon" room with a Jacuzzi (room 207), and it worked well, which tells me that they have a handle on the plumbing, but they need help with their electrical system. They need a building engineer, or at least an electrical contractor. During checkout, the folks in 126 complained of roaches, but they didn't notify the front desk upon sighting. They waited till checkout, which would make me suspicious if I were a hotel owner. We saw no pests whatsoever, but we were in a different part of the facility, different floor, different wing. We'll probably be back next year.

They don't do any upkeep. After traveling for a week we had a lot of dirty laundry but their laundry room was out of order. Didn't clean room, asked for towels 2nd day and had to go ask again 4 hours later. Very noisy, could hear people walking upstairs and lots of kids running up and down the upper walkway. They required a $100 dollar CASH deposit upon check in. No mention of that on their listing on Expedia.
