Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly & helpful. The view of the Danube and the Pest side are stunning. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room which was appreciated. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at the Leon Hotel during our trip to Budapest. The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and in an amazing location, perfect for exploring the city. The staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful, and the welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch. We honestly couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. We’d happily stay here again!

Room was newly renovated and bed was very comfortable. We stayed at the front of the hotel and there was a little bit of street noise. Lighting in bathroom needed to be brighter. Shower area had a bad smell but went away when the shower was turned on. Staff were friendly and professional. Food at the cafe was very good and nicely presented.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Leon Hotel and Lounge. It's perfectly positioned on the Buda side and within easy walking distance of the Chain bridge and the lifts up to the Castle District. There is a conveniently placed tram stop a quick walk from the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was provided with a choice of welcome drinks while I was checking in. The food in the ground floor café was nice with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating available.

Really excellent hotel. The staff were really fantastic and went out of their way to make you comfortable. The view from our river view room was incredible, especially at night. The shower pressure was really good and the breakfast was excellent - recommend the scrambled egg with mushrooms. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch too. The hotel is a 20-30 minute walk from most of the main attractions on the Pest side of the river - comfy shoes are essential if you plan to walk across the bridge every day. Otherwise the tram and bus can get you to most places. We also ordered taxis using the Bolt app which was very affordable, quick and easy. Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

My initial reason for booking this hotel was the location. It is riverfront and even though the room was listed as city view, it had a great view of the Danube. From the moment we stepped through the front door we knew it was going to be a special stay. After being greeted at the front desk and providing our passports, we were shown to comfortable seats and offered a glass of sparkling wine. The hotel is very modern and was a nice change from the historic hotels we had been staying in and was a welcome change. We happened to be at the hotel on their one year anniversary and they left a sweet treat on all rooms so we could join the celebration. This was my favorite hotel of our trip (5 hotels) and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful views, quiet sleep, very helpful and caring staff. Only downside is that you need to walk to the Clark hotel to use the gym, but it’s still worth staying at the Leon.
