This hotel was perfect for us, being situated right by Heroes square and Vajdahunyad Castle meant that we got to get photos when it was all lit up at night when there were no crowds! It is also a short 10 minute walk over to Széchenyi Thermal Baths which is cheaper if you arrive between 7 and 9am so was perfect as we got to go around all the different pools, saunas and steam rooms and drop off our wet clothes at the hotel before heading off to explore the rest of the day! The hotel is right by the main metro line you need to get to the main districts in Budapest although it is also walkable if you would prefer. Budapest is big though so if you are on a tighter schedule the metro is really convenient! The room was big, clean and modern and the shower room.was has a powerful shower, although the hairdryer is a bit useless (it takes forever to dry your hair)!

It was in a nice central location, but noisey and homeless issues. Breakfast was not as good as other ibis hotels I've stayed at, but alright. We could hear people in other rooms through the old ducting. Parking was convient, but pricey at €15.

Overall, excellent hotel for the value. Staff is friendly, professional, super helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic. There were 2 hiccups, one morning a the hot water tank had issues (they fixed it right away) and last night the AC was not working properly. By then there was about 9 days straight 100 Fahrenheit in Budapest, so we were not surprised for the disruption of AC service. I will return on my next trip, for sure.

nice hotel near heroes square which means you have to get the tube to it from the city centre......nice room and good service the only gripe would be that there could more fruit options at breakfast and theres not really any shops or restaurants nearby so i had to get snacks from a petrol station.

I enjoyed my stay with one exception: water pressure in the shower was terrible, and on one day (a Sunday) there was no hot water at 8am. (At noon, there was.) For that reason, I will be very reluctant to stay here again. (I assume there was no hot water on Sunday because the hotel was full, but not on the other days. But water pressure was very low all seven days.)
