The property is located at walking distance from the Market and the Danube river which is good. However, it is facing a busy boulevard. Entering the property, on the first floor of the building, there is a feeling that the air has been stagnant for a while. There was a strange stomach-upsetting cheese-like smell in the bathroom of our room which we pointed out to the staff. They said they would send someone to fix it, the person then came back to say everything was fine but it wasn't fixed. They agreed to change us rooms but the issue was the same in the other room, even though they added air fresheners prior to our arrival. We decided to cut our losses and move to another hotel, they agreed to refund us the last night. Discussion with the staff was difficult, one member of the staff got upset after we mentioned that the smell wasn't normal and that rooms were available in hotels nearby. Some stains on the bed cover, found a pair of glasses between the bed and the night table and a couple hairs between the sheet and the mattress, cleaning person could spend more time in there.
