Comfortable stay with good service

We had a miscommunication about how to get the key after hours at first but everything else was great. Accommodations weren't lavish but had everything I needed including closet space, comfy bed, included breakfast with wonderful coffee. Good location near Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. My room was on the castle side but if you request a room on the 3rd floor or higher on the Danube side, I hear the view is phenomenal.

Great location and host

A fantastic B&B in a great location in Buda. Minutes from Fisherman’s Bastion and other attractions. Viktor the host was sensational and assisted us with any questions or queries we may have had. Continental breakfast was a great way to start the day for a days exploring.

Nice Quiet Bed and Breakfast

I stayed 2 weeks in April which included Easter Sunday. The BnB is right below Budda Castle and it's only a 1oo meter walk to Fisherman's Bastion. It's a very quiet neighborhood at night. Of course, lots of tourists during the day but it's still a quiet area. The room was very nice and clean with excellent service from a very friendly staff. Victor was always helpful when needed though he's only at the place a few hours every morning. But he's easily accessible by text/phone.

This property is so close to Fisherman’s Bastion and you can even see the top of the building in the terrace of my room. You can enjoy the panorama view of Budapest whenever you want after a few minutes walk. The innkeeper Viktor is also very nice and helpful to book a taxi for us at 3am. Only down side is the towels a little hard. Add softeners to wash may be helpful. Overall it’s a good choice to stay.

Viktor was the perfect host. Viktor was very welcoming and extremely helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The property is situated just a street away from historical sites and a township high on the citadel of Buda overlooking the Danube River with a perfect view of the Houses of Parliament. There is a supermarket and wonderful restaurants and cafes serving delicious authentic cuisine only a walk away down the hill following a pathway of terraces lined with traditional apartments. Victor will provide you with a fresh continental breakfast each morning while his staff maintain a very clean, cozy and comfortable room.

Not fancy but comfortable with a great location

The location of this property is great; right at the foot of the Castle area. Great view of the river front and Parliament. There are few eating places in the area without climbing the steps to the Castle area. The bed was a little hard for our taste. We got there after dark and check-in did not happen until the next day. The information that they provided made entry into the hotel and access to our room very easy. Please realize that this hotel is a very old building and thus does not contain an elevator which can make carrying suitcases up three or four floors up a winding staircase difficult, especially if you are older like we are. If you check-in or out when the manager is there he will assist with your bags. The owner is very friendly and helpful.. One side note, when visiting Budapest download the Bolt app. It makes it very easy when getting a taxi which often arrives with a couple of minutes. Taxis are pretty reasonable and operate much like Uber.

場所は漁夫の砦の近くで良いのだが、そこまでに行くのに石畳の坂道があり、苦労する。 部屋は、広くはなく、設備も古いがベランダがあり、居心地はよい。朝食の時間が遅く1回利用出来なかった。受付に人がいるのが、13時までで若干不安。

Viktor was an excellent host and communicator. Location is superb for the Buda side with excellent value. Walking to the Metro required walking 3 blocks up steps that if not in shape would be difficult.
