“Beautiful property in the quaint downtown area - town is gorgeous. Views just outside the property front door will take your breath away. Stylish bar with excellent drinks. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.”

“Charming hotel with delicious food! The Cullen skink was delicious, as was the steak pie and venison. Breakfast the next day was also fantastic. The staff were lovely and very attentive and efficient. The bar had a great choice of beers and gins. Room 8 has fantastic views as is dual aspect. We will be back :-)”

“Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant. Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry". I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting . Waste of money, no refund offered”

“Property was as described and as remembered (it was my granny’s old cottage!) . The welcome pack of goodies was a nice surprise. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with a cozy homely feel. I especially loved the fluffy white towels provided! I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before,during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app...
