Lovely location next to a river with hilly views. My steak was cooked to perfection, but poached eggs in the morning were undercooked. lovely roon and staff, coffee was really good as well

Lovely stay at the Abbey Inn!

Beautiful setting to stay in looking out onto the river! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pub is stylishly decorated inside, the rooms were nice too. The food was the highlight! The steak pie and the beef burger were really good, and the full English breakfast delicious too! We will definitely be staying again.

Lovely place to stay

Had a lovely few days at the Abbey Inn. Really friendly staff and a lovely room. Located next to an idyllic looking stream with a bar downstairs and great looking food. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and all well cooked. A few minutes walk from the beautiful Buckfast Abbey and a few minutes drive from the quaint shops in Buckfastleigh. Happy to recommend

The location next to the river Dart was was a real bonus as was the general location for ease of access to the surrounding area. The staff were really friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 2 nights this week with my husband for a belated anniversary trip. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with a lovely river view. The breakfast and evening meal were superb. We also enjoyed the quiz on Thursday night. The attentive staff and excellent service complemented a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
