Room was spacious, staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast had heaps of options. The only downfall is that the hotel is located close to Gare du Nord station which is a red light area where thieves operate. Highly recommend to take a taxi. Apart from that, the hotel is excellent

The location of the property is close to the train station, very convenient to go around where I wanted to visit. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, but one male staff at the food serving and bar area is not helpful or friendly, very obnoxious. I was very offended.

Good value close to the city centre

An interesting hotel with large rooms with breakfast included at a reasonable cost. Close to the city and station. Next to several blocks of flats which made the area look a bit rough late at night but probably safe. Large rooms with good bathroom but otherwise the rooms were very bare with not even a plastic glass for water and no tea or coffee. It gave the impression of having been a more luxurious hotel in the past.

We honestly can’t recommend this hotel, despite the great reviews on Expedia. When we arrived around 2:30 PM, we were told that check-in was only at 3 PM. I asked if the room was ready, as it often is in other hotels. They said it was, but check-in wasn’t until 3 PM, so we had to wait. I’ve never seen that before. I’ve stayed in 2-star hotels that allow check-in if the room is ready, even if it’s not exactly 3 PM yet. The room is relatively spacious and comfortable. However, it wasn’t exactly spotless, especially in the bathroom. It was acceptable, but not great. I don’t think there’s air conditioning in the room. It was really warm, but since it’s winter, we didn’t complain. The next morning, we weren’t on the list for breakfast. Luckily, the front desk had given us two small tokens to access the breakfast area just in case. The breakfast selection was terrible: a few cold cuts, some pastries, a few juices, and a coffee machine. I think the pastries were defrosted or just bad, take your pick. We’ve had the same limited selection at a much better 2-star hotel in other cities. It’s disappointing to see this at a supposedly higher-end hotel at this price point. When checking out, we kindly asked if they could hold our bags for part of the day so we could enjoy the city. We were told this wasn’t possible after checkout. We tried to explain that most hotels offer this service, but they wouldn’t budge. After insisting, one lady at the front desk finally agreed to let us leave
