Clime Everest!!!!

Be prepared to climb to your floor (mine was 5th) as it appears elevator doesn't work for ages, but no information on that. Adding new batteries to the remote wil allow you eventually switch the TV on.

Too high by stairs, don't stay

An Ikea furnished flat, good in size, and cheaply furnished but sufficient. The location on the 5th floor was communicated 2 days before, and that the lift was not operational. That itself is a deal breaker, but the company would not offer a refund. They did claim on their site that the lift was not working, but never stated this was a 5th floor appartment.

They changed the code for entering the building with out notify us. We called the number they provided, but nobody answered. We waited outside for more than one hour to get the new code. They did not even apologize for it.

The elevator did not always work and we had to walk to get to the 5th floor the room had not been cleaned nor was the bed made the tv did not work we were awakened several times during the night by loud people inside and outside the building and they even rang our doorbell to let in. we tried to contact security but no one answered

I picked it because it was a one-bedroom apartment which would provide enough room for my family while visiting Belgium. Unfortunately, several things were wrong from the beginning. First, the air conditioning didn't work. Also, some of the lights did not work, and those that did were all controlled by one light switch. Only the main switch worked. Additionally, we found that the duvets had terrible stains on them, like dried bloodstains. We talked to someone on the night we got there and they said that someone would come to take care of things the next day, but nobody ever came to help make things better. We left early, after they were unresponsive the next day.

Smartflats is a scam. Stay away. The apartment looked nothing like the pictures, with bare rooms, the sofas are stained and dirty, the furniture of the terrace are torn, and the elevator did not work for a while when we got there, as the property manager told us. The walls need a coat of paint. It’s a 7th floor walk up with suitcases and kids in tow. We contacted management for a refund and they said to send pictures. We did. They said to wait for an answer. We never heard back. We went to the hotel across the road for all our stay. We contacted Expedia for a refund as well and they said after a few days that Smartflats were not responding to their emails and calls, so no refund possible, even though we explained the situation and sent them the pictures.

Unterm Durchschnitt

Die Unterkunft is nur für die Lage (Nähe Eu Einrichtungen) interessant. Der Aufzug ist schon seit langem defekt. Nicht wirklich lustig da ich im 6. Stock wohnte. Das Appartement war groß, jedoch nicht appetitlich. Bad: Der Duschvorhang war fürchterlich und es roch nach Schimmel! Toilette: Das Handtuch stand sm Boden an und das Kloipapier sah nicht gut aus. Die Terrassentüren ging gar nicht oder nur sehr schwer zu. Fazit: Insgesamt schlecht, einzig mit der Lage war ich zufrieden

Mi aspettavo di meglio

Incoerenza nelle comunicazioni e messaggi ricevuti tra hotel e host/ smartflats. Ricevuto due codici di accesso diversi, richiesto deposito cauzionale dopo la prenotazione che verrà restituito dopo 3 giorni nuova mail dopo 7 giorni, altra mail tra i 7-10 giorni. Assurdo! Appartamento sembra pulito ma non lo è. Varie cose rotte( rubinetto, divano, porta camera s alino in legno, cassetta acqua wc,....impossibile aprire finestre per arieggiare, molto molto sporche e tanto smog dalla strada principale. Quarto piano con ascensore fuori uso. Impossibile mangiare li vicino, tutto chiuso nei giorni di sabato e domenica. Per un Carrefour aperto in zona bisogna fare un po di strada a piedi.

Inte så bra och fint som det kunde varit

Trasig diskmaskin, ingen plugg för handdisken. Trasig kran i badrummet och stopp i avloppet. Nedsutten soffa. Illaluktande städskrubb. Men bekväma sängar och gott om plats för att packa upp och hänga kläder. Köksdelen var fin och praktisk fast som sagt så fungerade inte diskmaskinen.

Top-zentrale Lage zu allen EU-Häusern, das rechtfertigt aber nicht den Preis. Abgewohnte Unterkunft mit unansehnlichen Schrammen an fast allen Wänden und am Mobiliar. Sanitäranlagen entsprechen keinem 3-Sterne-Standard, keine Ablage im Badezimmer, alter Duschvorhang. Fahrstuhl dauerhaft defekt, bei Zimmern in der oberen Etage eine Zumutung.

Der Zugang ist umständlich über ellenlange Codes geregelt,welche an drei Türen eingegeben werden müssen. Die Bude ist aber riesig, auch die Trennung Toilette und Bad finden wir prima. Unschön ist die Disco im EG welche auch nach Mitternacht noch aufspielt. Da werden wohl die EU-Leute abfeiern; kein wundern, daß da nichts vernünftiges bei rauskommt.

The flat was spacious and comfortable. There were a few discrepencies which I reported via email and were never addressed during my 21 day stay. Property management was one of 2 bigger issues. Unless you called multiple times to follow up and push to address problem then there was literally no customer service. Also no one proactively scheduled the weekly cleanup and it took 3 calls and 5 days to get someone to the flat. Lastly but worse problem is there is a night club next door and this should be disclosed to renters as it will disrupt your experience if you are a light sleeper. After discussing this with owner they could not relocate me and allowed releasing the commitment but reimbursement amount was going to be based on nights rebooking the flat putting all risk onto me. Therefore forcing me to stay. Never again with Smartflats
