Expensive but high quality. Staff great and hotel facilities what you would expect Only one bar and restaurant but handy for the beachfront with plenty of choice One thing to watch is car parking is very expensive at €45 a night. Shame to rip off high value customers

A fabulous hotel, where the little things are taken care of, without needing to ask. Super facilities from the design of the hotel to the bedding. A complimentary glass of Ruinhart, probably tells you what you need to know!

Truly the best hotel by the North Sea. The ultimate luxury living. The staff is amazing, from the valet, the reception, the food management to the spa. Everyone is trying their best to make my stay comfortable and fun. Friday night live music would be my favorite event of the hotel, following by the wonderful breakfast!!! Cheers the the dream teams, the beauty and the comfort of the hotel. Perfection is here to spark!!!!

The property is very well located, service is excellent and prompt. Love the decor of the hotel and rooms, the understated luxury is palpable, Bar is excellent The only objection is that we were given a room without windows (yes, no windows!). No mention in the reservation or at check in on this "detail". The room was beautiful, but never experienced something like this in a 5 star property (or any property)

Ever room with a city view is extremely loud. The walls and glass are very thin. You will hear housekeeping yelling to each other all day, and there’s no turndown service. My room had stained sheets, stained carpets, and holes in the curtains. I asked at 6pm for housekeeping to change the stained sheets but was told they were gone for the day. I was also told that managers had all left and did not want to be bothered at home. Since no other rooms had been cleaned, I had to sleep on dirty sheets.

We visited the hotel in August 2026 with our 2 children. The hotel allocated us a room on the 5th floor. By the evening we realized that the room was too warm and the air conditioning was not cooling enough. When we mentioned this to them, they responded by saying our room was under the spa and the sauna and so there was nothing they could do except give us a fan. The fan however would only work if all the lights stayed on all night. After a horrendous night, with no sleep for all 4 of us, I asked the receptionist why they failed to mention this at check in. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging how difficult the situation had been, he nodded and said thats just how it is on that floor. We were naturally very frustrated after a sleepless night with 2 kids and the least we expected was an apology for our experience at their property. Instead, we got a shrug, a measly 45 Euro compensation (they comped our parking for the night) and an attitude that made us feel they were doing us a great favor by offering such a "big" compensation.

Super Nice Hotel but Service is Not what you expect and know from other Hotels - Like the Bothanic Sanctuary in Antwerp before This stay. Room was cleaned on Sunday at 4pm there is no door to the toilet which is not good at all. Only 1 towel per Person in the bathroom and no Soap. More of such Details could be mentioned Burg This is what makes the difference

We stayed from the 28.07- 30.07.2022 in La Reserve and are happy to share our thoughts and feedback with the team and also via Google Maps. The hotel is located opposite of the famous grand Casino Knokke on the elizabethlaan close to the Albertstrand. It’s easy to find and the entrance to the underground parking spot is well signposted. Unfortunately we’ve not been informed nor any information about parking fees (which are 28€/d) posted or addressed. This is something we would like to know upfront. Entering the hotel we’ve been welcomed by the receptionist. The checkin was easy and quick. The room (#207) itself had no daylight which creates a gloomy atmosphere. Would be nice to get the Information beforehand. Nothing stated nor pictured on the booking website. After we spotted a bunch of hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, shower and on the heater which we felt disgusted by, the manager on duty gave another room which was clean and nice. The breakfast fee is 35€/p.p which is not a good-price quality ratio what they serve. For instance, the whole English breakfast was cold and not of a quality what you expect from those higher class hotels. Their are much nicer small breakfast places around the corner with are spraying a wonderful Charme e.g. de Kaasfee. The breakfast location inside and outside are nice but it’s very difficult to manoeuvre each other through the narrow aisle with a breakfast plate in your hand. Hebben al meerdere keren daar gelogeerd maar deze keer was de bediening in de bar en bij het ontbijt echt onvoldoende. Iedereen holt wat door elkaar, niet genoeg personeel , ongeschoolde obers, vuile tafels. Als je deze prijzen betaalt moet het goed zijn. Restaurant hadden we deze keer speciaal niet geboekt omdat de commentaren ook niet lovend meer waren. Hier moet echt iets aan gebeuren. Spijtig want voor de rest een prachtig hotel. Receptiepersoneel wel ok.

Leider müssen wir feststellen , dass der Standard dieses Hotel etwas nachgelassen hat. Zum wiederholten Male hatten wir beim Checkout , wo die Restaurant Rechnung nicht stimmte . Also immer auf Richtigkeit prüfen. Dann hatten wir Duschtücher auf dem Zimmer , die man den Gästen in so einen Hotel nicht hinlegen dürfte .! Unterirdisch und zum krönenden Abschluss im Restaurant La Rigue finden wir auf der Terrasse kaputte Stoffservietten , sowie Löcher in der Tischdecke vor .Für eigentlich so ein tolles Restaurant lässt das Niveau leider nach und uns ist aufgefallen, dass fast das ganze Personal neu besetzt wurde . Wir fahren jetzt schon einige Jahre dahin , weil wir das Ambiente wirklich mögen aber Preis / Leistung könnte wirklich verbessert werden .
