Beautiful hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Only 17 rooms so it was cozy. The patio by the canal was our favorite place in Bruges.

The Van Cleef is absolutely exceptional: the staff are helpful and discreet; the breakfast is outstanding (especially if you eat on the terrace overlooking the canal); it is well situated; and the interior design of the public areas is very impressive. It felt like a trip back in time -- it was so individual, as if you were as guest in their home. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Brandon and everyone else working in tandem at this majestic property were phenomenal. I was traveling with a friend on this trip however, I will return with my spouse later this year and get a canal suite.The views from the lounge area are are amazing. It is so refreshing and relaxing! The Scale doesn’t go high enough to rate this hotel. C'est presque divin !

The place is simply wonderful, starting with the reception and its staff, whose smiles never leave their faces and who handle the check-in procedures as quickly as possible.
