We were approached by a male individual who we could not identify as either a guest or a member of management. He berated us for how we had parked, speaking in a rude and intimidating manner. Had there been an issue with our parking, a polite explanation would have been appreciated. Instead, the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As...

“I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”

“The main complaint we have is that the washing machine wasn’t working. We especially booked this place because it had a washing machine, but we couldn’t use it. The room wasn’t the cleanest as we found coins and other things on the floor, something we interpreted as not a thorough cleaning. The staff was friendly and they did let us use their employee-only washing machine and drier in the basement but we had to constantly go downstairs to do laundry, check if the clothes were already dry, etc....
