“Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

“Needed a place close to Shropshire to visit rellys - my wife found this online and the photos and reviews were stellar. The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy! Fortunately, no one came the other direction so only the wildlife provided the hazards. The lodge is a converted barn/stables/something old and quirky. It has wifi and very polite staff. “The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Ironbridge Gorge The room and bathroom was clean and every member of we met were very pleasant and helpful.Breakfast was ok but we ate in the restaurant one night and was disappointed with the food,in our opinion it wasn’t very tasty.”
