The hotel is dated and due to be renovated over the next few months I believe. But even so, it was a pleasant stay and the location perfect for my needs. Bar was lovely and breakfast included is always a bonus.

Communal areas were a bit tired, but the room itself was in good condition - clean and comfortable. Food was really nice, and the location was good for local walking and visits. Very friendly staff too!

The food was excellent, breakfast which was included was enormous, We ate dinner there one night and the food was very good with large portions. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times, for a 3 star hotel i cannot fault out stay

Good base for Brixham

Good base for Brixham and close to the park and ride. By the steam train so easy to walk across to that. Good restaurant menu and very helpful staff. Was quiet at night. Comfortable bed.

Fantastic mini break

Fantastic mini break. Food was excellent and plenty of it especially the breakfast.Staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. Room was really clean and comfy. Couldnt fault anything with our stay and highly recommend it you will not be disappointed

Surprising a good short stay

Booked this as a last minute break, the weather was terrible but our stay at this hotel more than made up for it. We were made to feel welcome when we arrived and were delighted to find the main bus route ran outside the hotel allowing us to spend our three days exploring the area car free. The food on offer was excellent with a good choice each night that was wonderfully cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay relaxed and pleasant. We would not hesitate to recommend or to book another short stay.

Clean but not enough shower gel and the room door was a fiddle to lock properly. Parking was good and felt safe. Food was good but having booked and paid for breakfast to find out if wasn’t served until well after I left for work was irksome. On my checkin night at 9pm, I was ‘encouraged’ to leave the bar and take my drink to my room. This alone is enough for me to avoid booking this accommodation again despite the good proximity to my office.

Stayed here for work. The room was very dirty. You can see the cleaner did bare minimum. Didn’t get to try the breakfast as it did not start till 8:30 and I left at 8. I did mention this to the staff member and there was no offer to accommodate. I didn’t eat here I ate somewhere else. Trying to get out on the main road was also a nightmare.
