Nick is such a lovely and helpful host and the place is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining all the time so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to but that's UK weather for you. I'd happily go back to the cellars and would like to stay at the orangery too.

Historic and peaceful.

Wonderful historic property. We had a great few days here. Well equipped with everything you need. Lovely walks from the front door and very peaceful. Parking a plus and Nick is a very good host.

An unique experience staying in the cellars for only one night. It was very dark and very quiet. We were attending a gig in the Bristol Beacon, we drove in and back, it was an easy drive in and out of Bristol which took about 10-15 mins each way, although the host advised us that previous visitors caught a bus in and used an uber to get back. Because of the steps down to the cellars I would not advise anyone with mobility issues to stay here

I stayed here multiple times and each time has been fantastic. The cellar apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay including cooking and washing facilities. Nick, the host, was fantastic and very welcoming. It's a beautiful location and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

The Priory Cellars was a quirky, historic pleasant stay. Lovely host , nice and easy access from motorway and surrounding areas. Ideal for the wedding we attended at Leigh Court.

A fantastic find close to the beautiful area of Clifton. All essential amenities provided plus a bonus starter pack, excellent information booklet and spotlessly clean. Great communication and personal meet and greet from owner Nick. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent accommodation in an interesting place!

Really interesting place! The converted cellar of a Victorian priory. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided. There was even dress coffee & milk! Thanks Nick

Quirky, wonderful host and a good location

Really liked the host he's a great chap. Location was good for what I wanted but needed some improvements for me to mark it higher. Orangery was stellar and great for reading/typing up notes.

Fantastic property

This is a fantastic property. Nick is a superb host, he kindly arranged to meet me on arrival, directing me to the property and providing me with helpful information. The property was nice and warm, had everything you could need and in a great location. I will definitely be returning.

A rare find

The cellar may not be for everyone but I loved it. Spacious, quiet, well equipped with additional kitchen extras, comfortable, good wifi, own parking space and a friendly and knowledgeable host Nick. It was cool when I arrived but soon warmed up. The area is good for hiking and the Clifton Suspension Bridge is just a 30 mins walk. Also has a good pub nearby along with a bus stop to get into Bristol.

What a wonderful quirky abode and situated amongst a wonderful property! Lovely garden to enjoy our gin too! Well stocked kitchen but if you didn’t wish to cook a great pub is 50yds away! Had a lovely welcome from the hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Bonus…property is just outside the congestion charge so used our bikes for getting around..easy! Will be a definite go to if we are up this way again 😊

Cosy and charming

Pros: the owner is very accommodating, we arrived pretty late yet he is still happily wait for us and show us around the property. The property itself is very charming with old exposed brick and country furniture but with a twist of modern appliances making my stay as comfortable and homey. The kitchen is complete with everything I need for cooking especially love the tiny compact dishwasher. We wander around the backyard/garden and enjoy morning coffee on the tree house. Cons: The bed is a bit uncomfortable to sleep on; bit springy and wobbly. The property is not thoroughly clean, we found hairs on the cabinet surface in the toilet and coffee grinds on kitchen counter. The slippers given has worn off (the floor is very cold!)
