Hotel has an enviable elevated position overlooking the Bristol Channel across to Wales. Although there are no recreational facilities we had a truly relaxing short break. The staff were lovely and the food was superb.

This was a great hotel for the night. Our sea facing room was very reasonably priced, massive, beautifully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and allowed us early access to the room and to leave our cars in the car park the next day while we went for a walk The hotel is situated just a short walk to access the coastal pathway that takes you sea front/pier area, and from there you can loop into the town itself. I'd highly recommend staying here and will do so again if in the area.

An extremely quick and friendly welcome and check in, especially as we arrived around 10:30pm after a busy day out and about. Room was large and welcoming, nicely decorated and with three large opening windows for us to control air to the room and a required temperature. Breakfast was self serve and there was a good enough choice and it was a great start / set up for the day. Cleaning wise, extra attention needs to be made to this as I awoke to find one of my pillows looked like it had been trodden on / or driven over due to a muddy mark on it, there were items of rubbish from previous guests under chairs - hair band, make up brush - a strange red liquid on tiles in the bathroom and where someone had spilt a hot drink on one of the walls next to our breakfast table, this had not been cleaned off.

A lovely view from the hotel, a shame there isn’t a great deal of space to sit outside to make the most of it. The staff were lovely and very helpful which was a plus. The hotel felt a little run down and there were obvious signs of previous issues that had been patched up, there was also a musty smell in various areas around the hotel. The room itself was spacious and clean but the beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely. We were a little surprised to see a room service tray had been left in the corridor outside a room, it was there when we checked in at 3pm on Friday and was still there when we left at 9:30am on Saturday- poor show!

Had a lovely one night stay at this beautiful hotel which has lots of character. I paid for a larger sea view room which had been recently renovated and even had a four-poster bed which was a nice surprise. It was spotlessly clean. The communal areas are a little tired but I expected they might be given the level of investment it would take to update everywhere. Breakfast was buffet style and fairly basic but sufficient. Very friendly and helpful staff
