Okay but pricey

Service was great. The room was adequate though old and rather dark. The tariff was expensive for what we got. The property is not near beach, shops, etc, In a residential street.

Very comfortable, immaculate bed and breakfast

I took my girlfriend here for a combined Valentine’s day / birthday and we were completely taken aback by the incredibly comfortable room that we were presented with. The owners Beth and Rob are very kind, welcoming and accommodating people who are also very interesting to talk to. The full breakfast provided each morning was flawless and truthfully the best experience we have ever had. Photos do not do enough justice for how gorgeous and relaxing this B & B is - the bed is incomparably comfortable, the bathroom is immaculate with very high quality finishings (especially the spa bath!) The fridge was well stocked with all of the essentials, including a few unexpected but very welcome extras! The private verandahs overlooking immaculately kept grounds are a real treat as well, especially as this is where breakfast is served. Will definitely be returning and letting everyone know about the amazing experience at Reid’s Place

Definitely planning on coming back!

I had read many positive reviews so I had high expectations. The place was exceptional and fantastic, way beyond my expectations. I had a lovely relaxing stay and the best sleep I've had in a long time. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious.

A Real Treat

This is a lovely place to stay. The grounds are beautiful- English cottage gardens. The room was spacious and very comfy. The spa bath is great. We went for some romance for our 30th. anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The country cooked breakfast on our own private deck was excellent. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Get-Away

We needed a relaxing break and this was definitely it! Everything has been thought of and provide - from the beer in case sparkling wine doesn't suit, quality chocolates, coffee and body wash - and Beth and Rob were the perfect hosts. We have already re-booked and will be going back again and again!

A lovely place tostay

A special place to stay if you want to make it special and memorable. The grounds are lovely and the Rooms are made up to make you feel that way with little extras here and there. The breakfast on the Verandah was beautifully presented and enjoyed. The owners are very friendly.
