We really enjoyed our stay at Kennigo Hotel. The location was ideal for us, tucked away in a quiet, leafy part of Fortitude Valley but still close enough to walk into the heart of the Valley and explore Brisbane. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly liked how peaceful the hotel felt despite being so close to the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which always makes such a difference. The café downstairs was also a real bonus, and we enjoyed grabbing breakfast and a coffee there. Overall, Kennigo was a great base for exploring Brisbane. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, convenient location and the fact that it felt slightly removed from the busier parts of Fortitude Valley. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel in Brisbane.

The location was terrific and quiet in a busy area of Spring Hill/Fortitude Valley which made the room quiet. The function rooms were in a 100 year old building and looked fantastic.The receptionist on checkin was pleasant, courteous with a warm greeting. As I checked in late, the restaurant/cafe was closed but looked inviting. The room on the 4th floor was very clean had a great view, very comfortable bed and pillows with snacks and bar if needed. Bathroom with large inviting shower. Would recommend for a comfortable stay and only 5/7 minute walk to bars, pubs and restaurants. Fortitude Valley railway station 5 minutes and had a large food court and supermarket.

I recently stayed for week at the Kennigo. My only negative feedback, if any, was that the room (Queen Room) was a little dated. Carpet was worn and bar fridge was in the wardrobe, rather than an allocated cavity. However, the excellent staff and location made up for it ten-fold. Front desk was friendly, helpful and the morning breakfast team worked efficiently and friendly. Happy to recommend the property to anyone. Location is ideal.
