HÎtel sympathique, "ancienne angleterre bien rénové", environnement calme et bien situé. Restaurant offrant des mets de qualité, personnel bien attentionné mais manque d'efficacité (veut bien faire mais a de la peine !).

SĂ©jour en famille dans un des appartements donnant sur l’arriĂšre de l’hĂŽtel. Appartement vaste, propre mais trĂšs sombre. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est peu variĂ© pour le prix, pas de choix de confiture et pain sec
il peut ĂȘtre pris Ă  l’extĂ©rieur au bord de l’ocĂ©an et la vue est spectaculaire. Le restaurant n’offre que peu de choix le soir hormis le menu le moins cher Ă  37 euros et ce prix assez Ă©levĂ© ne permet pas forcĂ©ment d’y aller plusieurs fois.

C'est une maison bleue qui n'est pas adossĂ©e Ă  la colline mais qui est face Ă  la mer et ses granits! Aucun autre bĂątiment ne vient gĂącher sa situation ! Vous avez la plage et la mer pour vous seul . De l’hĂŽtel, on peut faire de belles ballade Ă  pied jusqu'au phare de Pontusval ou jusquĂ  Meneham. Le soir le dĂźner est dĂ©licieux et la vue sur l'ocĂ©an est magnifique ! Nous Ă©tions Ă  l'appartement 2 : trĂšs confortable avec la chambre et une 2Ăšme piĂšce Ă©quipĂ©e d'une cuisine et d'un coin salon. Tout Ă©tait parfait avec un personnel trĂšs gentil.Un merci au jeune homme qui m'a offert gentiment un expresso en attendant ma facture !

Le cadre est indubitablement le point fort de cet Ă©tablissement : postĂ© directement en bord de mer avec une vue panoramique sur la plage, magnifique. Il y a cependant une grande diffĂ©rence entre ce qui est annoncĂ© sur les sites et le lieu concernant notamment la chambre dĂ©nommĂ©e studio : trĂšs petite, un seul velux donnant non sur la mer mais sur un chemin et la terre. L'Ă©quipement de la salle de bain est minimal (pas de rideau de douche, aucun rangement possible sous le lavabo). Quelques odeurs de tuyauterie venant du coin kitchenette... Mais une excellente literie! Le petit-dĂ©jeuner pour 14€ n'est pas Ă  la hauteur, notamment sur les propositions "salĂ©es", simples tranches de saucisson collĂ©es les unes aux autres et filets fumĂ©s de poissons, fromages peu variĂ©s, mĂȘme si trĂšs bons... Globalement une dĂ©ception quant Ă  la diffĂ©rence des atouts de la situation du lieu et de la qualitĂ© moindre des services, onĂ©reux du coup (rapport qualitĂ© / prix). Personnel charmant, mais trĂšs simple (trop ?).

Fantastic position of great hotel.

The proximity of this hotel to the water at high tide, with the varying vista of sand, sea, and those wonderful great eroded rocks, which litter the whole area, as well as the sea shore was very satisfying. The hotel is planned very well and the rooms comfortably roomy, and we found the bed very comfortable. The menu in both the restaurant and Bistro was a bit limited and seemingly rarely changed, but well cooked and the portions large. The breakfast was overpriced at 14 Euros for being very average. We had a very enjoyable holiday and would readily come again.

Great location by the beach. Countryside view from room #4 but very quiet. Good size room but mold in the shower. No elevator to get to our room. Very good restaurant. Make reservation and go early (7pm) if you want to be seated by the window. We didn't use the spa. Nice trail to walk by the water. Breakfast is fine but little over priced.

We arrived late and restaurant closed, the bar staff really kindly made up charcuterie plates for the family. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing beach and sunset. Breakfast finishes at 10.00 - could it be half an hour later???

parfaite situation géographique, en bordure de mer trÚs reposant, un grand sentier de randonnée trÚs appréciable, et un peu à l'écart du village pour le calme. Nous avions un appartement pour notre famille de 4, trÚs bien équipé et insonorisé. Les lits confortables, et donnant sur la lande. Nous n'avons pas pris de repas au restaurant, mais nous avons profité du spa trÚs agréable (de 9h à 20h) et propre. Un rapport qualité prix impeccable pour un séjour dépaysant et ressourçant. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et félicitons l'équipe.
