The hotel was charged at £118. The stay was for one night and the listing stated free parking with a walking distance from the beach being within minutes. The hotel itself was ok but over priced for the room due to no decent tea cofee condements being available such as milk cartons which I thought was poor given the price. My partner had to run out to grab a milk. Several light bulbs in the bathroom were not working. The listing stated that free parking was available by parking on the next street which actually turned out to be a few blocks away which was a good 10 to 15 min walk. Not near the hotel at all! Upon my stay, my car was broken into and goods of value were stolen.It was a really poor experience and put a downer on my trip. I was informed via email prior to my stay, I could apply for a council permit for free parking, but was only notifiied of this option a day before my arrival and that I would of had to notify the council 24 hrs before my stay! The hotel was chosen for its closeness to the beach and free parking. Very disappointed. For the price point and the inaccurate listing offering free parking, I would go elsewhere and look for something cheaper. Too overpriced for what it was. Also. no staff were present on site during my stay which I found strange so I could not raise this issue regarding the parking and my concerns for my vehicle. I would seriously look for cheaper better alternatives as this is quite misleading.
