The pictures don't tell the whole story. We got a room with a sea view and that was the highlight. I appreciate that this place may be fine for some and that they try to keep things tidy, but for us the room was very cramped, not well cleaned and the bathroom was the space of about 2 phone boxes, shower included. I can't in good conscience say it met our expectations in any way except the view.

We had a fantastic stay at Central Wave. From the moment I arrived, the check in process was well explained and organised, and the communication from the team was clear and helpful throughout. The property despite being a Victorian building is clean and well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The location is also a big plus. Very convenient for getting around Brighton while still feeling quiet at night. Overall, great value for money and a really enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend Central Wave and would happily stay again in the future.

Our stay at this property, was a bit poor. The room was fairly clean, the pillowcase on one side of the bed was marked a bit yellowy, the bed looked comfortable, but when actually laid on it, it was very hard could not sleep and the other rooms were very noisy. Kept hearing people walking about late at night. We left at 5.30am on Wednesday morning.

The basic room was functional with everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and everything we needed was provided. There wasn’t any noise to disturb us and the check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. All in all a good stay.

Very simple, basic room but it was well maintained, clean and tidy, and with a bit of old world charm. It's a classic guest house style building with few bells and whistles, but it had everything I needed for a few days stay to attend a conference. Check in was easy, and the online reception was responsive. Nice, cheery bunch running the place, too. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay at Central Wave Brighton. The location is great, really central and easy to get everywhere on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely done considering it’s an older building. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Check-in was easy and everything ran smoothly. Communication was good, and it was nice to have someone at reception if needed. Overall, great value for money and a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back.
