“The rooms were very close to the zoo and Black Country Living Museum. Check in was easy and we received the codes needed on the morning we were arriving. The bed was comfortable and a small amount of tea/coffee was provided. The only negatives are that it was a noisy location and the rooms could do with a deep clean.”

“On arrival there was no parking available. I know the listing says on-street parking only but there was none available. After 15 mins of driving around the streets had to park on double-yellows. The code I was supplied for the property did not work so I was unable to gain access. Contacted the owner, not sure what I was meant to do as it was not clear. Waited another 20 mins, nothing. Booked into a different hotel and got a refund. Beware”

“Full marks for everything but the mattress could be more comfortable- was too soft and you could feel it was sinking in because it was old.”

“Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room.”

“Room’s cleaning standards were very basic. Room for some improvement there it would benefit for sure. Very minor issues found with one or two ants I found in the room, and some foreign hairs on bedding on the first day, checking in. The kitchen and bathroom again require more monitoring/cleaning before use, as they’re shared, but given the prices of the rooms it isn’t unreasonable to expect guests to tidy up after themselves.
