“Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend”

“Great stat overall”

“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

“We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!”

The lady that we saw briefly one morning was asked to replenish the tea, coffee, didn’t happen she didn’t vacuum one day she didn’t even wipe the sides unfortunately the room we had let it down badly but it was room 13 😱 Now the staff in the hotel were absolutely wonderful we couldn’t have...
