Views of the hills of charmouth are always welcome. Comfortable, clean and a good hearty breakfast keeps you going for a days fossil hunting along the beach just 3 minutes away.

We were welcomed by Jayne who runs Hensleigh house along with her husband Warren who are absolutely lovely. The rooms are modern, very clean, comfy beds and equipped with everything you need, very quiet too. Great breakfast cooked by Jayne and her husband Warren, the staff were very helpful and efficient. Definitely a 5* review, we would definitely stay again. We had a family room so the children had their own bedroom. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, immaculate! The breakfast options were fantastic and the staff were all so friendly. We immediately felt relaxed. Locationwise it was a short stroll to the beach or up the hill to the lovely Royal Oak pub. We also had a tasty lunch at the local Bank Cafe. Very short journey over to Lyme. Quiet in the evenings. Perfect location for us.
