What's nearby

  • Flamborough Head is a promontory, 8 miles long on the Yorkshire coast of England, between the Filey and Bridlington bays of the North Sea. It is a chalk headland, with sheer white cliffs. The cliff top has two standing lighthouse towers, the oldest dating from 1669 and Flamborough Head Lighthouse built in 1806.

  • Bridlington is a great example of the wonderful British seaside. With 2 beaches - pebble beach to the north of the town, and this sandy beach to the south, separated by the harbour, there's donkey rides, speed boat rides, a funfair, fish and chips a plenty and icecreams galore.
This beach has great facilities for toilets, sowers and snacks and of course you can hire a traditional stripy deck chair and the usually essential windbreak!

Great Base for a Break Away

Comfortable beds, powerful shower, secure garden, peaceful location. Very good kitchen facilities. Plenty of places close by to visit. 3 pubs in the village and a Co-op. Beach just outside the village next to lifeboat station. 1 min in car or can walk. Everywhere yougo is very dog friendly. Relaxing break in home from home style cottage.

Hartendale Family holiday

Nice place in a quiet out of town location. Good base for exploring local area. Good for families. Not so good if you are looking for nightlife as need to drive to most places. Great local fish and chips and good family amenities (shops, cafe, play area etc). Property really nice with good facilities and very clean.

Short 2 night stay. Is fairly easy to find. Near Flamborough and Bempton RSPB. Liked the property, is in a quiet area, church bell was nice.
