My room was more like a small apartment which was clean & comfortable & the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I didn’t get chance to try the restaurant but it was busy and smelt delicious, overall a very good value for money stay & I’ll definitely stay at the George again if I’m in town.

This was a very comfortable stay at a good price. Room was clean and coffee, tea and water available. My husband was thrilled that the price included a full English breakfast. Very good location and just £4 to park opposite for 24 hours.

The George is opposite the Severn Valley Railway Station, perfectly situated for us, as we had steam train tickets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is on a busy road which was noisy early in the morning. The breakfast was very good, and portions are generous. We dined in The Gurkha restaurant one evening. The food was excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay and very good value.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. It could do with a bit of freshening up of the paintwork. Our room was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee and bottles of water. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not need a carpark but there was one opposite that charged £4 per 24hrs.
