This is our favorite “go to” place whenever we visit Bridgeport. We love the huge grassy area with chairs and tables to enjoy the mornings or evenings. Rooms are always quiet and you can park right in front of your room. It is located close to shops and restaurants to walk to. Just love the old world style of the town and the hotel.

We arrived late and chatted to the hotel as we drove along via the Expedia app messages. In a quaint old village, the hotel hit the right vibe and was well organised with easy parking in front of your door. Rooms adequate size and the air con worked well when we needed it. Nice open green space in the middle. Old Main Street was quaint and the food and drink (and atmosphere) along at Rhino’s was perfect for us! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We checked out the old Bodie Hotel across the street and also took a long, early morning dip in the hot springs. Excellent base for exploring Bodie - everything we’d hoped for!

We booked three rooms for a pre-backpacking/camping trip to Twin Lakes for 10 people and one Labrador, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the whole place had a cozy small-town charm that made us feel right at home. The family who runs the inn was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really appreciated having BBQs on the property—it was a great touch for our group. We’ll definitely be back to the area and would be happy to stay here again.
