The hotel is at a perfect location, close to the prorel and the comercial main street for at Briançon. You May walk to Vaubans fotification. The bus stop is right in front. The owners are a Nice couple, they are very kind. He’s a little grumpy as a good french. :)

Good accomodation in the center of Briancon

Excellent location in the center of Briancon, with internal parking for motorbikes. Few steps away from old city with restaurants and bars. Room is pretty spacious, bed very comfortable, all clean. Small terrace with mountain view. Breakfast is typical continental, with good croissabts and average for the rest. Good price/quality ratio. As a plus, the electric heater in the bathroom to dry your wet motorbike gear 😀

Avoid this property if you are a cyclist. The owner does not allow bikes in the rooms - even if they are packed in a box (he has a big sign in the lobby). He claims the local crime is low, so you can just keep your expensive bike in your car. The property states free parking on the premises, but only has 6-7 parking spaces for 20+ rooms. The owner refers you to free parking lots that are blocks away (but have no spaces available), so you are forced to pay for parking. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Had a very nice stay, ideal for a ski weekend. Clean, comfortable room, friendly owners, and ofcourse very good proximity to the prorel gondola (about 400 meters, flat terrain) and to the bus station connecting all other Serre Chevalier resorts.
