All around the pool was covered with bird poop and feathers. The rooms were horrible, dirty and old. The elevator acted like it was about to break apart and fall. on the plus side. The staff were very friendly and helpful as best they could and they actually had a real breakfast. They did a catfish on the restaurant next-door, and said that that was their bar which hooked me when I looked at their photos online because I wanted a nice beachfront hotel that had a cozy little bar restaurant, but it wasn’t there. It was across the street so that rubbed me the wrong way.

We booked two rooms for our family and cousins, and overall, the room layout worked really well for our group. We had a spacious suite featuring a master bedroom and a separate living area with a sofa bed, which gave everyone plenty of room. The cleanliness was decent and met our basic expectations. However, our biggest issue was the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom. It was very noisy and simply could not keep the room cool with outside temperatures hitting around 100°F. Because of the constant noise and the warm room temperature, it was tough to get a good night's sleep. If you are visiting during the peak summer heat, you may want to check the AC performance upon check-in or request a room with updated climate control.
