A lovely find. Spacious bedroom. Beautiful views over the sea from the hotel and grounds and some rooms. Nice bar area serving drinks and food. Also a restaurant. The breakfast food was lovely and beautifully presented but the experience was spoiled by many of the staff who had no time for us and were often downright rude. It was a struggle to get anyone to take a hot food order (which often arrived cold). The hotel was clearly understaffed. Some of the staff were brilliant, particularly Christopher who was always friendly and helpful (and worked incredibly hard).

Ehrwürdiger Hotelklassiker in die Jahre gekommen

Das Hotel ist ein klassischer Parador in sehr schöner Lage auf einer Anhöhe mit sehr schönem Blick auf die Küste. Wir hatten ein schönes Balkonzimmer mit Meerblick. Das Hotel hat auch schöne Aufenthaltsräume und eine schöne Terrasse. Es gibt auch ein Sauna, allerdings ohne Infrastrukur wie Liegen o. ä. Das Hotel ist allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Farbe, grade an den Holzteilen, ist ziemlich ab. Dazu haben erstmal Fernseher, Lampe und Whirlwanne nicht funktioniert, wurden allerdings in Ordnung gebracht. Der Fernseher war allerdings sehr klein und hatte keine vernünftgen Programme. Dazu sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, Möbelrutschen oder Fernsehen in den Nachbarzimmern ist gut zu hören. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, allerdings sind die Englischkenntnisse im Service minimal, was bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht ganz angemessen ist. Deutsch kann niemand, obwohl es viele deutsche Gäste gibt, aber das nur nebenbei. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Positiv ist auch der große schöne botanische Garten, der sich an das Hotelgelände anschließt und frei zu betreten ist.

Das Hotel ist, wenn auch schon in die Jahre gekommen, wunderschön & in traumhaften Lage. Schade, dass wenig Wert auf die Instandhaltung gesetzt wird. Zimmer sind sauber & ordentlich, jedoch sehr hellhörig. Das Frühstück ist ok, leider gibt es jeden Tag die gleiche Auswahl. Das Abendessen ist gut, die Karte jedoch überschaubar. Nach einer Woche hat man alle Gerichte durch. Die Gartenanlage ist top gepflegt. Die Reinigungskräfte leisten gute Arbeit, auch wenn es die eine bessere wie die andere macht; z.B. wurden die Gläser nicht immer getauscht, mal fehlten Handtücher oder Wasser, Papierunterleger wird trotz Verschmutzung nicht getauscht. Das Personal ist tatsächlich die größte Schwachstelle des Hotels. Das männliche Personal ist durchweg freundlich, während der Großteil der Frauen gestresst, angenervt und herablassend ist. Die Dame die bei unserer Ankunft (22.02.) am Empfang saß hat uns erst mal angeraunzt. Grüßt nie und war über alle Tage hinweg sehr unfreundlich. Beim Sprechen ist sie einem immer ins Wort gefallen. Diese Person setzt man nur an den Empfang, wenn man seine Gäste vergraulen möchte oder keine Ahnung von Service hat. Auch beim Frühstück ging es tageweise drunter & drüber, so dass wir morgens eine 1/4 Stunde nicht beachtet wurden & man hinterher laufen musste, um einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir das Beste aus unserem Aufenthalt gemacht. Mit ein wenig mehr Führungspräsenz wäre das eine oder andere Thema sicherlich besser.

La Palma sorpresa.

Falta información en la habitación. Por ejemplo el numero para llamar a Recepción, la clave de WIFI, el encendido del TV y del AIRE ACONDICIONADO. Ya se que basta con preguntar pero no estaría de más que la información estuviera en la habitación. De resto muy bonito, amplio, limpio tranquilo y los servicio esmerados. Personal amabilísimo y presto a ayudar. Es entorno es un hermosísimo jardín con unas vistas preciosas.

Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, so dass ein paar Sanierungsarbeiten anstehen dürften. Aber alles noch tolerabel, sehr schönes Ambiente. Auch sehr gute Küche, leider bei hohem Niveau kaum Auswahl an urigen, deftigen Speisen. Schade, dass weder Speisekarte noch Infomaterial in Deutsch vorgelegen haben.
